From the chromaticity diagram, 2D gamut that is the new recommendation UHDTV specified is almost completely covered by the 2D gamut range of laser's.
The result shows that compared with 2D gamut, 3D gamut can be more comprehensive and objective for evaluating the monitor's color performance.
So, it is necessary to establish the displayers' 3D gamut to analyze its display performance.
