The designed questionnaire was based on various scientific publications and reports (see Rodriguez Osuna [2013]; Angelsen et al. [2011]; WBI [2011]; Gaese [2009]; Instituto Terra Mater [2009]; Forero [2002]).
Following a single dose of 8Gy WBI, one death was recorded for WT mice.
Bone marrow cells from femurs of mutant and WT littermates were analysed at day 10 post 8Gy WBI.
Rad21+/− mutant and WT littermates were exposed to a single dose of 8 or 13Gy WBI and Kaplan-Meier survival curve was determined over 30 days post IR.
At 3.5 days post 13Gy WBI, PCNA-positive cells were present in the majority of crypts in WT mice, indicative of active cell proliferation associated with crypt regeneration (Fig. 5C).
