Thirty-six growing Boer goats were used in Trial 2. They were divided into three equal groups and randomly allocated to receive one of the following diets: (1) unpelletized ryegrass hay-based TMR (TMR-1), (2) tp-TMR in Trial 1 (TMR-2), and (3) TMR-2 plus 0.12% zinc-methionine (TMR-3).
The calculated diffusion times were characteristic for TMR, A38-TMR and VACV-TMR.

The 2 treatments were: 1) total mixed ration (TMR) containing regular barley silage (RBS-TMR), and 2) TMR containing mechanically processed barley silage (MPBS-TMR).

The treatment rations were (1) total mixed ration (TMR) in a limited amount (TMR-L), (2) TMR in a limited amount with straw (1.8 kg of DM/d per heifer) offered as a choice (TMR-SC), and (3) TMR in a limited amount with straw (1.8 kg of DM/d per heifer) mixed in (TMR-SM).
The 'C' TMR had 58 g/kg total fatty acids with an estimated net energy for lactation (NEl) of 7.3 MJ/kg (DM), while the C16:0 TMR had 72 g/kg total fatty acids and 7.5 MJ/kg NEl (DM).
Six multiparous ruminally fistulated cows (BW = 685 ± 65 kg; (mean ± SD) in the mid-phase of lactation (70 to 148 DIM) received the following treatments in a replicated 3 × 3 Latin square design: (1) total mixed ration (TMR; control, CON), (2) TMR + 2 g/head per day of a probiotic combination of Enterococcus faecium and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (EFSC), or (3) TMR + Prevotella bryantii 25A.
In this case, same ferromagnetic material is used in both pinned and free layers so P 1 is equal to P 2. TMR values are calculated for CoFeB-, CMS- and CFAS-based MTJs and are given in Table 2.
