He designed one of the first reliable seismographs in 1880 and traveled widely in Japan to set up 968 seismological stations for a survey of Japan's widespread earthquakes.
In particular the SN-1 seismological data are integrated in the INGV land-based national seismic network, and they arrive in real-time to the Operative Centre in Rome.

We perform the analysis for the ground accelerations recorded at 6 seismological stations: Grua, Ruda, Rada, Bara, Zaga and Bdva.

Hammerl (Geosci Lett 4 7, 2017) introduced historical seismological studies in Austria, starting from methodology which is state of the art in most European countries, followed by a case study for an earthquake of July 17 , 1670in Tyrol.
For this event, the difference between the InSAR-derived moment of 5.56 × 1016 N m and the seismological estimate of 4.91 × 1016 N m is relatively small.
We can consider other projections on a hexagonal bi-pyramid (Fig. 1b) or its conjugate shape (Fig. 1c), although the seismological meanings of their size definitions are not as clear.
The locations of the block boundaries without the strain accumulation (N2, U1, H1) are not based on seismological or geological evidences, but on the velocity field (Fig. 2).
