Each monomer contains 35 chlorophyll a (Chl), 11 12 all-trans β-carotene molecules, 1 OEC (Mn4CaO5 cluster), 1 heme b, 1 heme c, 2 or 3 plastoquinones, 2 pheophytins, 1 nonheme Fe, and around 20 25 lipids.

The present work reports early results from a study of CH4 OEC, in which the O2 enrichment of air is implemented in situ using dense, high-temperature mixed-conducting solid-oxide membranes.
As shown in Fig. 7c, the upper chamber contained either 5 × 102, 5 × 103, 5 × 104, or 5 × 105 MSCs (in 0.5 ml of culture medium), while the bottom chamber contained 5 × 104 OECs (in 1.5 ml of medium) for the various assays described below.
When TNF-α secreted by reactive astrocytes in glial scar was neutralized by anti- TNF-α antibody or TNR1 expressed on OECs was blocked with anti-TNFR1, OECs migration induced by glial scar tissue was greatly attenuated (Fig. 7B, C).
This resulted in 224 normal HOSE, 511 OSC, 500 OCC, and 247 OEC novel small RNAs found to be potentially derived from a precursor hairpin structure.
In groups 2, OECs pretreated with anti-TNFR1 antibody (1∶100) for 30 min were injected into spinal cord and received the antibody against TNFR1 (10 µl/day) instead of N.S. (TNFR1 group).
In group 3, OECs pretreated with an irrelevant goat IgG (1∶100) for 30 min were injected into spinal cord and received the IgG (10 µl/day) through the pipe (IgG group).
