Photoconversion efficiency in the Ti ITO-based DSC sample is 3.75% (ff: 0.54, Voc: 0.71 V, Jsc: 9.82 mA/cm2) aTi ITO-based light intensity.
Device based on MXD10 gave a maximum power conversion efficiency of 6.47% under simulated AM 1.5 irradiation (100 mW cm−2) with JSC = 15 mA/cm2, VOC = 635 mV, and ff = 0.68.
While the DSSCs from dye sensitizer pHs of 1.23 and 5.7 had Jsc of 1.13 and 2.27 mandm2, and fill factors of 0.43 and 0.61, respectively.
Under standard AM 1.5G, Jsc reaches 17.91 mA cm−2, which results in a much better power conversion efficiency.

After doping, the device shows VOC of 0.50V, JSC of 7.65 mA/cm2, FF of 0.30, and PCE of 1.15%.
However, when the density of GNPs increases up to 5.4 μg/cm2, Jsc and η decrease because excess GNPs aggregate, diminish the localized plasmonic effect, and block incident light.
Obviously, as the density of GNPs increases from 0 to 1.3 or 2.7 μg/cm2, Jsc and η increase due to the plasmon enhancement by the GNPs.
