The only protein that was consistently visible following the 1 hr time point was the 2C/p39 protein.
Every mGFAP-GFP+ cell examined in the SVZ and RMS was stationary (N = 3 mice, 65 cells analyzed, 1 hr time lapses) (Fig. 2G I).
Another key gene that was induced following THZ treatment at the 1 hr time point is kgtP, which encodes the major facilitator super-family protein.
Upon serum stimulation, however, the degradation of this protein was declined sharply and made more proteins accumulated at the 1 hr time point.
To provide a frame of reference, the outcomes of reactions (1 hr time points) carried out with Flp on its cognate P- and MeP-half-sites are displayed alongside the corresponding Cre reactions.
The results in Figure 1 show that there are no major reaction products synthesised prior to the 1 hr time point, at which time the 3ABCD/p110 and 2C/p39 proteins are clearly visible.
This analysis also indicates that the largest number of detectably expressed genes occurs at 0 and 48 hr in the Neomycin time course and at the 1 hr time point in the laser time course.
This profile was validated by RT-PCR using 1 hr time intervals from 0-11 hr embryos.
