I am certain that, though he may have escaped so far, the next few months will plant him indelibly in the public mind for now & perhaps for posterity as "Merica's No. 1 Heel".
The three parts to the stance phase are: (1) heel strike, when only the heel is on the ground; (2) mid-stance, when the foot and toes come to the ground; and (3) pushoff, when the foot lifts onto the toe, which bend, squeeze down, and propel us forward, mostly with the big and middle toe.
Especially given the uncertainty surrounding Brock Lesnar's contract situation and exactly how much longer he'll be in WWE, Raw clearly lacks a true No. 1 heel.
In fact, one could argue that Raw, especially when Brock Lesnar isn't around, has long lacked a true No. 1 heel and doesn't have a single villain who's viewed to be on the same level as the show's top babyfaces.
After being set back by a bit by an underwhelming feud with Dolph Ziggler and a couple of notable losses to stars like Finn Balor, WWE has re-positioned McIntyre nicely as arguably the No. 1 heel on Raw whenever Lesnar isn't around.
